Tree Planting with the Lord Mayor – November 2012

This was another brilliantly organised event by Nikki (organiser of the Pram Push) which brought together pupils from local schools during the week to plant trees in Loglands Nature Reserve in Hull, and finished with us planting a tree in memory of Abbie on Saturday 18th November with the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress.

There is a lot of time and effort going into the regeneration of the area and Nikki has given the local school children the chance to go back to the reserve in coming years to see the trees that they planted grow as the Reserve continues to expand and develop. It was also really nice to plant a tree for Abbie and we’re looking forward to seeing it grow and flourish.
