Walkington 10k – Friday 12th July 2013

The Walkington 10k event for 2013 was held on Friday 12th July and was run for Abbie’s Fund by Romina Lewak and her sister Michelle Bird.

They are running in memory of Romina’s son Joseph, who was born sleeping.

Micky ran the Beverley 10k in May for Abbie’s Fund so we’re really grateful that they are continuing to support us in the provision of memory boxes for Hull Women and Children’s Hospital.

We were there to cheer them on on the evening and they did really well in the heat, and raised a fantastic £687 for Abbie’s Fund.
