Sainsbury’s at Jacksons make Abbie’s Fund Charity of the Year
We are really grateful to Dave and Shelly for making Abbie’s Fund the Charity of the Year for the Sainsbury’s at Jacksons store in Newland Avenue Hull.
They became aware of Abbie’s Fund when one of their members of staff lost a baby and was given one of our memory boxes and things progressed from there.Â
It’s a huge boost for us as not only will there be a donation from the store towards our funds, but it also helps to raise awareness to a large number of people in Hull and the local area about what we are doing and why.
We always try to be as ‘hands on’ as possible when people are helping us, so we’ve taken part in the first event in July which was a book and clothes sale with a number of fun additions such as name the teddy and a lucky dip for children.
Having our collection boxes at their till points is also a great help and we’re looking forward to the other events they have planned for the coming months.
Thanks again to Sainsbury’s at Jacksons, and please let us know if your business would like to be involved with Abbie’s Fund as their nominated charity.
