Exercise Biking – March 2014

Mica Hallett, her partner Chris Yeaman and family and friends are taking turns on an exercise bike at the Kingswood Matalan store on Saturdays and Sundays in March to raise money which will be split between Abbie’s Fund memory boxes and Hull SANDS.

There will be collection boxes with Mica whilst she is riding, and on the checkouts, so if you’re passing please go and give them all some encouragement and pop some money in the box. There will also be an Abbie’s Fund stall on display on Saturday 22nd March and Paul and Katy will be there to support Mica and riders and chat to customers about the charity. Many thanks to the managers at Matalan for allowing Mica and ourselves to do this.

This event will help towards Mica and Chris’ training regime as they are also competing in the Driffield Triathlon in May for Abbie’s Fund and Hull Sands, so we really appreciate their commitment in supporting us.

Many thanks to Mica, Chris, family and friends who took turns on the exercise bike and supported Mica and Chris – they raised a staggering £1712 which will be split between Abbie’s Fund and Hull & East Yorkshire Sands. We are extremely grateful for their amazing support and dedication. We would also like to thank Karl, manager at Kingswood Matalan for allowing Mica to fundraise at the store. The money raised will help provide memory boxes for many local families.
