Mark’s Triple Challenge – 2014.
Mark Richardson took part in not one but three personal challenges throughout 2014 to raise money for Abbie’s Fund Memory Boxes. He kicked it off on 29th June with a tough 10K cross country run in Sherwood Forest, which was followed by the Yorkshire Tough Mudder at Broughton Hall, Skipton on 2nd August – the 12 mile course is described as:
“Running over rough, rolling fields, through daringly dense woodlands and into streams, bogs and pools of thick, heavy mud and clay, every step on this course feels like an obstacle in itself.”
After a couple of months to recover Mark put on his Abbie’s Fund tshirt for his final challenge on 1st November – the Hellrunner, a 12 mile course described as:
“With everything from running tracks and trails to water filled areas and steep hills expect to get very wet!! It is nature at its toughest!”
We would like to thank Mark for his dedication in training and for partaking in such huge personal challenges, his support will allow Abbie’s Fund to supply more memory boxes to the hospital.
