Ben Nevis challenge – 20th September 2014.
Ross Ferry, Robert Ralston and Bridget Ferry climbed Ben Nevis on 20th September 2014 in memory of Ross’ daughter, Lucy, who was born and sadly died on 5th July 2013.
They did an amazing job and raised £505 for Abbie’s Fund and we really appreciate their support.
Ben Nevis (Scottish Gaelic: Beinn Nibheis) is the highest mountain in the British Isles. It is located at the western end of the Grampian Mountains in the Lochaber area of Scotland, close to the town of Fort William and is affectionately known as ‘The Ben.’Â It is 1344m (4,406ft) high and with approximately 16km of rough terrain to ascend the boys are guaranteed a long, hard slog to the top!!
Their fund raising efforts will help provide more memory boxes for families who lose babies through stillbirth or neonatal death.
