Sainsbury’s Local Charity of the Year

There are 2 great parts to this story…

The first is that the Newland Avenue shop chose Abbie’s Fund as their charity of the year for 2013/2014 and through various events they raised an amazing £1850 for us, and that was a record for them. The other great news is that they are going to continue their support for us for 2014/2015. All of the staff have made such an effort in their fund raising and we’re really grateful.

The second part is that the Hall Road shop has also decided to support us as their charity of the year for 2014/2015 so we’re looking forward to working with them too.

It’s great for the stores to get behind us and makes us appreciate the local support for what we’re doing, which of course is all based around Abbie’s Fund supporting berieved families in the local community.
